Therapy Groups for Teens, Parents/Caregivers, Women and Divorcees

In addition to individual therapy, we offer group therapy to our clients. Group therapy uses evidence-based practices to teach skills and support growth. Our groups provide individuals with the opportunity to learn other perspectives, feel less alone in their own experiences, develop peer connections, and practice skills that will help them feel better in the moment.

We offer group therapy for adults, children and adolescents.

The current groups that are offer include the following:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Adolescent Group (recommended age range: 13 to 17 years old). This group is designed for adolescents interested in managing their difficult emotions and improving their relationships. Teens learn distress tolerance skills, emotion regulation skills, walking the middle path skills, and interpersonal effectiveness skills, allowing them to practice these important life skills in their everyday lives. Group therapy includes hands-on activities, real-life examples, and encouraging peer connections. These groups offer concurrent parent sessions to support the use of the skills at home.
  • Parent/Caregiver Groups
  • Women’s Groups
  • Grief Groups including for those for individuals navigating divorce.
